7-11 A kid friendly obstacle course

We have bumps here.  Not like little bumps in the road, BUMPS.  Red and itchy, with blisters. . . YUCK!
So, as a result we are house-bound, which we all love!!!!  We did laundry, and read books, (though mine is sadly neglected) we had comfort food for lunch and snacked the rest of the time.  ;-)
Trey is our imaginative one.  Everything has been a gun, (who teaches them that?) he loves bugs, and most recently Math. (yuck)   He decided to take advantage of our TORN UP basement and make an obstacle/game course.  I should explain BEFORE I show you the pictures.  We had a bit of a flood, we still have neighbors with houses full of water.  Ours was just a little flood.  Just enough so that I had to take apart the basement, move the rugs, and couches, etc.  My husband never met a couch he didn't like, so this is quite an undertaking.  ;-)

Here is our game master.  Our oldest.  Our funny man.
Explaining the rules to this elaborate game.
Game #1.
Knocking over the cushions with a snake.
Go get 'em Lou lou!
Game #2
The Swinging Death.  I'm told is the name.  :-D
Hurry Daddy Hurry!!!
No no I'm too cute to be killed!!!
Game #3
Rescue the baby.  There were two different versions of this game.
Two different difficulty levels.
Abi's version.  Shimmy up that pole girly!
She's all girl, 'til she gets competitive.  ;-)
Benji won this round.  :-D
Game #4
Large monsters rescuing the babies.  First baby in the papason wins.
This was my favorite.  I won.  :-D

The wind up
The release.
In the words of my sweet grandpa, "We number 2, We number 2!"

It was a good night.  The basement was cleaned up the next morning. :-D
