April

April started off great.  A Good Fri service at church, and I will never forget the look on Alex's face when they started serving the communion.  He looked back at David and was like WHAT???  WE GET SNACKS???   :-)  David explained it all, and it was precious!
Then we had some friends over for Easter.  Traveling has just been outside our budget, and there are alot of kids still at home with our families too, so for now we're just picking fun people to celebrate with sans family. :-D

                                   Any holiday is a good excuse for new socks.  :-D

My husband is SOOO good about making memories with our children.  Every Easter he hides their Easter Baskets, and I am responsible for making up the clues to lead them there.  Every new clue had a new action. ie "Crawl to where we keep the band-aids."  "Scoot on your bottom to the place where clothes get clean."

Another fun idea my hubby had was family prom.  :-D  We home-school, and OBVIOUSLY as our children get older we will have to incorporate some new "elements"  but this was our first anual.

There were lights and big bouncy balls hanging from the ceiling.  We had special snacks and drank from crystal goblets.  :-D   Had play offs of all our favorite family games, and took Prom photos.  :-D  It was a great night!   

At the end of the month David's siter Lisa and Scott and their kids came to see us.  We had a great time, and the kids LOVE eachother.

Abi and Hayden are playing the stuffed animals and Alex is playing the suitcase, er, drums.  :-D
