Sign-up Sheets are in the internet cafe on the counter or you can call the front desk to be put on the list!
Red Day is almost here! Here is a bit more information about the daily work schedules and worker shift information....
The shifts each day will run from: 9:00-12:30 and 1:00-5:00. Lunch will be provided by Oxford Mortgage from 12:30-1:00 each day.
#'s of volunteers needed each day:
Monday: 10-12 volunteers each shift; Deconstruction and prep: We will be moving furniture, pulling carpet and cabinets, preparing for painting, and doing exterior landscaping clean up. We hope to rehang the new cabinets by the end of the day.
Tuesday: 10-12 volunteers each shift; We will be framing the basement all day, painting the interior and continuing exterior garden/landscaping work. (Shirley and her son will be painting the ceilings first thing in the morning so we'll be doing most of the morning work in the basement).
Wednesday: 10-12 volunteers each shift; Basement framing and dry wall. Amir will be putting in the new linoleum floor in the morning and our carpet vendor will be putting in the carpet in the afternoon. We will also be doing more landscaping and we will start working on creating the garden area.
Thursday...THE DAY!! We need 30 folks for each shift to help load in all the furniture, hang ceiling fans and light fixtures, decorate and organize, hang blinds and curtains, and help finish up all remaining projects.
