Apex swimming!
Y'all have heard that we have some big changes coming up...
David is going "back to school", our daughter moved home to do the same. And we have one week until our home-remodel begins.
As part of our home-remodel preparations we have rented a large roll off dumpster, that was supposed to be here this last week. It was delayed, by it's current users, and so we had a Friday, before the madness, before the stay-cation, to have a little down time.
We first heard about Apex a few years ago when our FABULOUS home supervisor arranged for our whole foster organization to have a day of fun there!!! (How great is she???) As luck would have it, we got sick the day before the event, and weren't able to attend. However, it sparked our interest and tried it out a few weeks later, and oh my goodness, it did not disappoint!
Try to picture a large wading pool, with a kids play place in the center, with water shooting, or not, however you "customize" it with levers, and pulleys. Even our most timid baby, who is not a fan of the water, eventually really enjoyed herself!
Our 5yr old, who has never seen anything like it, said, "Mom, what's this name?" I said, "It's a pool !" He said, "ohhhh, I like pool!" :-)
For the bigger kids they have water slides, and a whirl pool!
We always have a great time, and of course take a million pics, but I can only show you a few.
