A room for the kidllets

There have been some huge changes in our little kids bedrooms!! 

These rooms have really had the most wear in the house.  They have been painted and re-painted. Furniture has come and gone.  They have had as many personalities as the 11 different children that have occupied them! 

With this in mind, Kathryn had quite a task in store for her.  They had to be kid friendly, washable, neutral and fun!  As usual she delivered all of the above!!!

Here are the "before"s.  

This is the "honorary Story's" room.  

There was a brass bed with a trundle underneath. That poor poor brass bed... It used to be a stately, beautiful antique.  "USED to be" is the operative phrase!!  Our 5yr old liked to wiggle the support bars until they snapped, and our 3yr old loves to take the globes off the end and lob them down the stairs... Poor poor bed. ;-)

How cute is that tree wall decal?!?

A new trundle bed and mattresses!! 

And I LOVE the sunny yellow on the walls!!

The kids have spent many many hours here!

Isaiah's room used to be Abi's room, in case your wondering whether or not to mention that his wall looks faintly pink, in the "before". ;-)

The polka dots are anti skid things with little suction cups on them!!! Isn't that fun??  I'm tellin' ya!! Our Miss Kathryn is brilliant!! The kids LOVE to play with them, and then when the bath is done they go back on the wall as decoration! 

All our children have loved their new spaces!!!  

And we are so grateful for all the thought that went into these rooms!!
